Any genre, any style, in any rhyme and in any time. Our only rule, make it more than 30 seconds and shorter than 90. In doing so, with such a short space of time of film and in edit, we get people creating, we get them out there and doing something that doesn't need funding or Hi-Definition. For the simple learning of just shooting.

Brief:
Using any genre and any media, shoot and edit a one minute film (between 30-90 seconds (including credits). Create all your own material (no copyright infringement)
That's about it as far as the rules go. Oh, and don't break the law. Or at least, don't get caught

One Minute Wonders is a competition, and as a result, your work will be judged by industry professionals within the wider film community of Leeds. Prizes are awarded in the following areas:

Best One Minute Wonder
Best Drama / Scripted Piece
Best Comedy / Romance Piece
Best Horror / Thriller / Suspense Piece
Best Animated Piece
Best home grown film - literally, the one that could have been made in one minute

Synopsis:
We wanted a program that was accessible, manageable and as home grown as possible. We wanted something that incited even the busiest filmmaker to get creating. We wanted a program that would provoke the inexperienced to learn. We wanted it be so accessible that nobody would resist. We created it with simple intentions:

To get people filming. To get people creating. To illustrate passion and build talent
