Destricted is the first in a series of visual explorations of where the fine line of art, sex and pornography intersect. The films highlight controversial issues about the representation of sexuality and art; opening up for debate to question whether art can be disguised as pornography or whether pornography can disguised as art or something else altogether. The result is a collection of explicit, stimulating, challenging, provocative, strange and sometime humorous scenarios that leave it up to the viewer to decide. Destricted brings together a series of short films from Larry Clark, Gaspar Noé, Sam Taylor-Wood, Matthew Barney, Marina Abramovic, Marco Brambilla and Richard Prince. Destricted, distributed by Revolver Entertainment ( www.revolvergroup.com ), is on general theatrical release from 15th September at Curzon Soho, ICA, Barbican and elsewhere. The DVD is on general release from 25th September.
