Want to be in a movie? Joseph Tan filmed the final location scene for his film Time to Kill on Saturday 14th October.
Joseph was looking for extras to populate Middlesbrough’s Square One bar which is based on Gurney Street near the old Odeon Cinema. Everyones A Suspect ... Until They End Up Dead:
From the makers of Gangsters In Love comes Time To Kill, violent slasher movie based around five characters, a haunted house and an unseen serial killer known only as "Killer Kam". Unlike past projects TTK will be shot for real and on-location. Special effects, sound and light will be captured on-set, canceling out all need for CG-enhanced visuals. Five criminals rob a bank and hide out in an old house where they must wait for a call from "MR-E", their boss. As the night unfolds members of the team start to die in very horrible ways. Short flash-backs will help reveal more details on the characters, there past and there reasons for being part of the robbery. Each flash-back is designed to give clues as to who killer Kam is. It can only be one of the five main characters, but which? Project TTK will aspire to better GiL in almost everyway but content. It is not for me to say if its a better film or not, it is down to you, the viewer. I will say this though, every action is being taken to make the film-making process better. The film is going to be shot on a canon XL2 for the best quality image possible. Sound will be captured via Sony MD mini-disc allowing us for the first time to capture real-time audio on-set with little or no background noise. Lights are essential for TTK's atmosphere and will feature in all interior locations. Production time will be be cut by 75%, allowing a very quick and easy to manage shoot, something we couldnt do on GiL due to lack of experiance. I want the film to be of hightest quality, thats the best way to better GiL - in the way I make films rather than the kind of films I make.
