How Films Recreate The Past...

Thursday 3rd May – Thursday 5th July, 6.00pm - 9.00pm | 10 credits

Films set in the past filter their historical accuracy through the changing demands of fashion, drama, budget and box office. Together with Gail-Nina Anderson, watch and discuss this process in ten movies ranging from Intolerance to Shakespeare In Love.

Courses will take place at the Tyneside Cinema at the Old Town Hall, Gateshead.
