Versions Of History – How Films Recreate The Past

Time: 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Qualification: 10 credits


Films set in the past filter their historical accuracy through the changing demands of fashion, drama, budget and box office. Participants will be invited to watch and discuss this process in ten movies ranging from Intolerance to Shakespeare In Love.
