Do you have an innovative idea, the ambition to set up your own business, or simply want to develop your portfolio and skills to industry standard?
The DigitalCity are currently inviting applications from North East based graduates for their Fellowships scheme - the aim of which is to provide financial support and expertise to graduates, alumni and regional artists. It aims to support the development of business ideas or the production of portfolios of work to a point where they are commercially exploitable and/or are award-winning to attract further funding. They would like to hear from you if you are talented, ambitious and your work relates to any of the following sectors: • Animation development and production Successful applicants are awarded a grant of up to £4,000 and have access to state of the art facilities to develop their work. All Fellows are allocated an industry expert from their field who provides one-to-one mentoring throughout the duration of their project. It is this aspect of the Fellowships scheme which makes it unlike any post-graduate initiative being offered elsewhere. The next deadline for applications is in November 2007. Further applications will be considered in the New Year. For further information on the Fellowships scheme call Michelle Tanner or Scott Watson on 01642 384 334. |
