Celebrate more stories of the creative activities of digital women on 12th December - over a special Christmas buffet!

Our next Showcase and networking event is on Wednesday 12 December - once more at Tiger Tiger in the centre of Newcastle.

Amongst the showcasers:

* Emily Barber - creator of fascinating range of work from Channel Four's 3 Minute Wonder to a unique insight to the communities of Gateshead's Coatsworth Road. Emily shoots some of her own video pictures as well as producing and directing - hear her own approach to filmmaking.
* Dawn Furness - aka Fabulous Opera Singer - Dawn has a wide range of interests encompassing VJ performance, opera and video - find out more!
* Olwyn Hocking and Julie Nicholson - their interest in climate change communications has led them to explore carbon neutral production and set up a social enterprise.

We'll also be following up the interest in DigitalCity Fellowships mentioned by several members at the last Showcase - we've invited a representative to tell us more about the fellowships and bursaries available and answer your questions.

And there will be hot news on the brand new Digital Awards - all you ever wanted to know and more!
