Where has your work been showcased?
Channel 4, and the BBC.

What advice would you give to women starting out in the digital environment?
If possible, learn to shoot on DV cameras.  This opened a lot of doors for me, and by learning to shoot, you’ll also learn what is needed in an edit, which will put you in a stronger position when you come to direct and produce your own work.

Do you see any differences between the UK and the worldwide digital industry?
There will be a greater crossover of work with the international industry and the challenge will be about how to incorporate all the demands that come about as a consequence.

How do you see the future of the digital media industry?

Massive!

What barriers have you come up against in your work?
Starting out, I had problems getting work in the factual field because I was not a journalist.  That’s less so now, due to the expansion and the evolvement of factual programming.  I also struggled with my dyslexia.

Best piece of work-related advice you’ve been given?
Listen, and know when to admit that you don’t know something.
