Strawberries in chocolate and fruity rosé wine were amongst the treats at the latest DWN gathering – plus the usual relaxed-but-productive networking! The Annual General Meeting at the Digital Lounge, Tyneside Cinema, screened a dvd with highlights from events and developments across the year.Members were urged to be more selfish and less giving! – if you have a special interest and would like us to organise a workshop, let us know. You may like the DWN to invite along an inspiring role model from elsewhere – perhaps to share skills, perhaps to take part in a review of work of a small group of digital women practitioners. Go for it! The first of these pilot workshops is for women who want to grow their skills in VJ performance. The AGM heard that the VJ Beginners Workshop is booked up. There is an advanced VJ workshop in the pipeline - there’ll be more details soon on this DWN website.
