Concept Film Night: Call for Submissions

 This month’s event was the most successful so far with a showcase of award-winning drama, documentary and comedy by North East based filmmakers. It was followed by the usual networking session which allowed the audience to discuss the films that were shown with the people who made them.

 

 

The October event will make the short move from the Centuria Building to the University’s Main Lecture Theatre which is currently being refurbished.

 

 

The team are now calling for submissions from Tees Valley and North East based filmmakers. To reflect the activity going on in the region, Concept Film Night showcases material by filmmakers of all levels, including amateur, student and professional work. All genres will be considered as long as the content is not offensive.

 

 

Submitted films must be no longer than 20 minutes in length and supplied on both DVD and DV tape, along with a synopsis.
