of being within the Sunderland Minster out into the grounds...

Sights and sounds from this place of worship make up the work, featuring the 10 panels of their William Morris window and voices of the choir, specially recorded to capture the Minster's unique acoustic quality.

Walking through the projection the viewer's movements reveal the serarate panels momentarily, whilst at the same time generating layered choral sounds. Careful and sensitive movement is rewarded with richer images and music.

Minsterllation is one of 4 commissioned works by Sunderland City Council as part of SHINE 07. Look out for other SHINE installations across Sunderland City Centre including 'Monolith 4', 'Motto' and the NOVAK film 'Shine your Design'.
